Karelian company “PGMK” presented its products at the exhibition “Innoprom. Central Asia” in Uzbekistan

In April, Tashkent hosted the exhibition “Innoprom. Central Asia”, a key event for the trade and industrial cooperation development in the Central Asian region. With the support of the Russian Export Center, the enterprises from the Russian regions presented their work as part of the national exposition under the brand “Made in Russia”. Karelia was represented by the company OOO “Petrozavodskmash Gorno-Metallurgicheski Kompleks” (PGMK).

The exposition “Made in Russia” was visited by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Government Denis Manturov and the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjayev.

During this exhibition, we held a number of successful negotiations with one of the potential consumers of our products, the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Plant. We are currently discussing the possibility of creating a joint venture, localizing production in Uzbekistan and assembling pumps, shared the general director of the PGMK Andrey Sadykov.

The OOO “Petrozavodskmash Gorno-Metallurgicheski Kompleks” (PGMK) is actively developing cooperation with Uzbekistan. The company took part in the visit of the delegation led by the Head of Karelia Artur Parfenchikov to Tashkent in October 2024 and signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Uzbek company “MST Minlash” on the supply of high-performance ground pumps.

The PGMK manufactures pumps for mining and processing plants, carries out repair, restoration and service work for mining and processing enterprises in the North-West of Russia.
