Karelian Shungite for New Customers: Results of “Innoprom-2026”

Svetlana Astakhova, the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic, visited the OOO “Nadvoitskiy Plant TDM”. The minister was briefed on the results of the company participation in the international industrial exhibition “Innoprom-2026”, which was held with the support of the Karelian Ministry of Industry and Trade.

During the three days of the stand operation, the company managed to gather approximately 40 new contacts from potential partners.

Three major organizations have expressed interest in the new filter paper based on the Karelian mineral. According to the company representative Sergey Alimpiev, the main interlocutors were rubber product manufacturers and metallurgical giants, who recognized the potential of shungite in their technological processes.

The executive authorities in the Tambov and Kaluga regions have shown particular interest in the products; they are considering the possibility of collaborating with the Karelian organization in the fields of agriculture and polymer production.

The company notes that participation in exhibitions is an effective tool for finding new markets. The company immediate plans include participation in the major events in Tashkent, Dzerzhinsk, and Moscow.

It should be added that the OOO “Nadvoitskiy Plant TDM” has been studying the properties of shungite for over 8 years, transforming scientific research into commercially viable solutions.
