The regional representatives of the Export Support Center (ESC) presented the achievements and key performance indicators at the conference “Made in Russia. Chosen in the World” in Kazan.
Anton Fokin, the Minister of Economic Development of the Republic of Karelia, and Viktor Svirsky, the Head of the Karelian Export Support Center, participated in the All-Russian Conference "Made in Russia. Chosen in the World," which featured an open dialogue between the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Export Center (REC), and the heads of the regional executive bodies and export support centers (ESCs).
The heads of the regional industry ministries were able to communicate directly with the heads of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Russian Export Center.
The work under the national project "International Cooperation and Export" will continue to expand. The Ministry of Economic Development of Karelia, together with the Russian Export Center and the Republican Export Support Center, will continue to provide all necessary support to small and medium-sized businesses to engage them in exports and promote the Russian products abroad.
During the conference, Viktor Svirsky, the head of the Karelian ESC, reported on achievement of the Center key performance indicators for 2025. Over 600 services were provided, and 22 SMEs concluded 24 export contracts worth over $14 million. The conference participants also discussed geographic expansion and the specifics of exports in various industries.
According to Anton Fokin, the Minister of Economic Development of Karelia, “participation of the relevant regional ministries and export support centers in the All-Russian Conference is an important step in exchanging experience, knowledge, and best practices in supporting domestic exporters.”
The conference provides a unique platform for discussing current issues related to development of the export infrastructure as well as for establishing partnerships between various market participants, which is especially important in the face of external sanctions. It allows to improve operational efficiency as well as to better understand business needs, adapting the services to the changing conditions. Furthermore, participation in such an event strengthens the positions of Russia and Karelia on the international stage and develops new export destinations, which ultimately has a positive impact on the economy of the country and the republic as a whole.
