In 2025, Karelia presented its industrial capacity for the first time at “INNOPROM-2025”
The Republic of Karelia participated in the international industrial exhibition “INNOPROM” for the first time with its own presentation board. In 2025, the region showcased its innovative enterprises at the country main industrial venue and signed its first export agreements.
In July 2025, the international exhibition “INNOPROM-2025” was held in Yekaterinburg, where the Republic of Karelia organized a joint stand for the first time. This allowed the regional key industrial companies to reach the federal and international levels, showcase their products, and find new partners.
The enterprises from various economic sectors were represented at the Karelian site:
- OOO “Ingenernyi Tsentr Pozharnoi Robototekhniki “EFER”, a Russian developer and manufacturer of robotic fire extinguishing systems and nozzle fire equipment: fire monitors and hand-held nozzles;
- OOO NPO “Technodar”, a leading manufacturer of fuel control systems and satellite monitoring of transport, tachographic control systems;
- OOO “Natleks”, developer of web and mobile applications;
- OOO “Yurobot”, solutions in the field of robotics and creation of robots;
- OOO NPK “Karbon-Shungit”, a shungite mining enterprise located in the Medvezhyegorsk district of the Republic of Karelia.
– Participation in “INNOPROM” is a strategic step for development of the Karelian non-commodity exports. We were able to demonstrate that the region offers natural resources as well as modern technology, engineering, and high-tech products, – noted Svetlana Astakhova, the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Karelia.
One of the key outcomes of participating in the exhibition was signing of preliminary agreements and memorandums of understanding for the supply of the Karelian products to new partners. This confirms the high demand and competitiveness of goods produced in the republic.
The first Karelian participation in the exhibition “INNOPROM” laid the foundation for further strengthening the regional industrial image on the national stage and contributed to image-building of the companies as reliable and innovative partners interested in long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation.
