From Karelia to Istanbul: unique thermwood was showcased at an international exhibition.

From September 17 to 20, the Karelian company “Termonen” participated in the 28th International Exhibition “Intermob” in Istanbul, the largest industry event in the Eurasian region.

Participation took place as part of the Republic of Karelia collective stand, with the support of the Export Support Center of Karelia.

At the exhibition, “Termonen” showcased thermwood made from the Karelian pine (using only heat and steam, without chemical treatment), as well as solutions for terraces, facades, and interiors, garden decking tiles, and molded products.

In total, hundreds of enterprises and tens of thousands of professionals from over 100 countries participated in the event. For the Karelian company, this was an excellent opportunity to showcase the quality of the Karelian timber, find new partners, and gain a better understanding of international market demands.
